Nils Lorenz is one of Germany's up-and-coming middle-distance triathletes. He is determined to throw himself into the "shark tank" of professional triathlon and fight his way to the top of the food chain.

His swimming strength will certainly help him. As a former competitive swimmer, he has the necessary starting speed to position himself in the frontgroup.
Nils feels at least as comfortable on his bike as he does in the water. He not only spends a lot of time on the bike, but also working on it as a mechanic. As a mechanical engineer, he is constantly looking for "marginal gains" that will improve the endtime.
However, there is a much greater development potential in running. Since Nils is not a born runner, he is working intensely with his coach Sebastian Kienle on technique, top speed and economy in a long-term and sustainable project.
